Career Services
The Career Services Office (CSO) helps students achieve their career goals by providing advising regarding career options, providing job search strategies and resources, and connecting students with potential employers. Experienced counselors (each a licensed attorney) provide students — beginning with guided support during the first year (1L year) — and alumni with individualized career planning assistance.
Each year, more than 700 legal employer offices worldwide interview students through on- and off-campus interview programs. Additionally, on average, more than 1,500 term-time, summer, and postgraduate jobs are listed annually on the CSO's online job bank for students, recent grads, and alumni.
The CSO presents professional development programs, skills-building workshops, and networking opportunities with Texas Law alumni and other legal professionals. Programs and service provided include:
