Tuition and Fees

Tuition

Total tuition cost (the sum of statutory and designated) for Texas residents is $17,212 and $30,312 for non-residents.

Statutory tuition consists of $6,550 ($19,650 for non-residents) and designated tuition is set at $10,622.

Fees

Total student fees cost is $2,080. The Medical Student Resource fee of $1,305 covers lab, technical and curriculum delivery expenses. A Student Support fee of $750 covers the use of University Health Services clinics, personal counseling and mental services, recreational and fitness facilities, campus Union facilities and regional shuttle services. A Malpractice Insurance fee of $25 is also assessed. 

Other Expenses

Health insurance will cost approximately $2,185 if purchased through the University.
