Classical Languages

Major 

24 semester hours in the languages and cultures of one of the following areas of specialization: Classics, Greek, or Latin. 

1. Classics 
   1. Six hours of upper-division Greek 
   2. Six hours of upper-division Latin 
   3. Classical Civilization 375, Greek 365, or Latin 365
   4. Nine additional hours of Greek, Latin, classical civilization, and Ancient History and Classical Civilization 325 or 378, including at least three upper-division hours
2. Greek 
   1. 12 hours of upper-division Greek, including Greek 365 
   2. 12 hours of Latin, classical civilization, and Ancient History and Classical Civilization 325 or 378, including at least nine in upper-division coursework
3. Latin 
   1. 15 hours of upper-division Latin, including Latin 324 and Latin 365
   2. Nine hours of Greek, classical civilization, and Ancient History and Classical Civilization 325 or 378, including at least six in upper-division coursework
