Jewish Studies
Major
27 semester hours of coursework in Jewish studies, including Jewish Studies 304M or 304N, at least three additional hours of lower-division coursework, and 18 hours of upper-division coursework. Students must complete six hours in each of the following areas:
- Humanities and arts: Jewish Studies 363 and comparable courses identified by the faculty adviser
- History and social science: Jewish Studies 364, 365, and comparable courses identified by the faculty adviser
Students are encouraged but not required to use Hebrew or Yiddish to fulfill the foreign language requirement.
