Admission and Registration

Admission and readmission of undergraduate students to the University is the responsibility of the director of admissions. Students who wish to explore one or more fields of study before choosing a major are encouraged to apply for admission to the School of Undergraduate Studies. Students who are not admitted into their desired major in another college or school may also be offered admission to Undergraduate Studies.

Detailed information about the admission process is provided in the General Information Catalog, which also includes information about registration, adding and dropping courses, transferring from one division of the University to another, and the academic calendar. The Course Schedule, published before registration each semester, includes registration instructions, advising locations, and the times, places, and instructors of classes.
