UDN 388K. Urban Design History, Theory, Criticism.

Examine critical theories and practices that affect the built environment. Three lecture hours a week for one semester Urban Design 388K and Architecture 391C may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Graduate standing and consent of the graduate advisor.

UDN 188R, 388R. Topics in Urban Design History and Theory.

For each semester hour of credit earned, the equivalent of one lecture hour a week for one semester. May be repeated for credit when the topics vary. Prerequisite: Graduate standing and consent of the graduate advisor.

UDN 690. Urban Design Planning Project.

Restricted to students in the Master of Science in Community and Regional Planning and Master of Science in Urban Design dual degree program. Research project in urban design. The equivalent of three lecture hours a week for two semesters. Urban Design 690 and Architecture 690J may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Graduate standing and consent of the graduate adviser

UDN 696. Topics in Urban Design Studio.

The equivalent of fifteen laboratory hours a week for one semester. May be repeated for credit when the topics vary. Prerequisite: Graduate standing and consent of the graduate advisor.

UDN 696C. Urban Design Options Studio II.

The equivalent of fifteen laboratory hours a week for one semester. Prerequisite: Graduate standing, Urban Design 696 with a grade of at least C, and consent of the graduate advisor.

UDN 696D. Urban Design Terminal Studio III.

The equivalent of fifteen laboratory hours a week for one semester. Prerequisite: Graduate standing, completion of Urban Design 696C with a grade of at least C, and consent of the graduate advisor.

UDN 696E. Urban Design Honors Project.

The equivalent of fifteen laboratory hours a week for one semester. Prerequisite: Graduate standing, Urban Design 387D with a grade of at least C, and consent of the graduate adviser.

UDN 698. Thesis.

Three lecture hours a week for two semesters. Prerequisite: For 698A, graduate standing and consent of the graduate advisor; for 698B, Urban Design 698A.
