Rhetoric and Writing

Major

Twenty-seven semester hours of coursework in rhetoric and writing, at least 18 of which must be upper-division, consisting of

  1. Rhetoric and Writing 306, Rhetoric and Writing
  1. Rhetoric and Writing 321, Principles of Rhetoric
  1. Each of the following courses (any topic):
    1. Rhetoric and Writing 330C, Advanced Studies in Digital Rhetoric
    2. Rhetoric and Writing 330D, History of Rhetoric
    3. Rhetoric and Writing 330E, Rhetorical Theory and Analysis
  2. Three hours chosen from Rhetoric and Writing 310, 325M, 328 (any topic), 368C, or 368E
  1. Nine additional semester hours in rhetoric and writing, including six hours of upper-division coursework
