The breadth and depth of the curriculum is conveyed by the list of courses given in the Courses section.
Experiential Education
The School of Law offers numerous courses and programs that bridge the classroom and the practice of law. Students gain hands-on experience through advanced training in simulated settings via advocacy, legal writing, and other hands-on courses, and work on real-world cases and projects through clinics, internships, and pro bono work. These academic experiences are designed to integrate theory, strategy, skills, and law. Information about experiential education is available at law.utexas.edu/academics/experiential-learning/.
Centers and Institutes
The School of Law includes a number of academic centers and institutes that bring together faculty, students, and outside experts to study legal and policy issues in a number of important areas. Information about the centers and institutes is available at law.utexas.edu/academics/centers/.
