First-Year Curriculum
Essentials Year
The forty-eight week pre-clinical curriculum will impart the foundational knowledge for students to prepare and succeed in medical school. This year is highly integrated and consists of eight blocks, a capstone course and two longitudinal courses with early clinical and interprofessional experiences as well as a two week vacation.
