Fourth-Year Curriculum

Exploration Year

The fourth-year consists of thirty-five weeks of curriculum with sixteen weeks of required clinical rotations, sixteen weeks of clinical electives and a three-week intensive residency preparation experience. Eleven weeks of vacation are afforded to students in order to prepare for residency program application and interview. 

Block Rotations

  • Acting Internship (Four weeks)
  • Critical Care (Four Weeks)
  • Emergency Medicine (4 Weeks)
  • Electives (16 Weeks) 
  • Milestone One - Transition to Residency (3 Weeks) 

Longitudinal

  • Developing Outstanding Clinical Skills
  • Transformation to Interprofessional Collaborative Practice
  • Transformation to Leadership Practice 

Interview Time

  • Interview Time (Eight Weeks)

Vacation

  • Vacation (Three weeks)
