National Society of Collegiate Scholars
The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) at The University of Texas at Austin is an honor society for high-achieving second year students. In addition to recognition, networking, career resources, and leadership development, members can apply for NSCS-only scholarships and awards and attend special NSCS programs throughout the country.
Membership is available by invitation only to students who have a GPA of 3.50 or above and rank in the top 20 percent of their class. All eligible students are notified by the University Honors Center in the spring.
