Introduction to video, digital, net.art, and multiple media art forms with an emphasis on experimentation and a DIY approach to production. Focuses on the history, theory, and evolution of media art practices and their relation to the Internet and social media networks. Six laboratory hours a week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: Studio Art 311C, 312C, 313C, and 314C with a grade of at least C in each (or two of the following three courses with a grade of at least C in each: Studio Art 301C, 302C, 303C).
