Authors may include Wright, Ellison, Baldwin, Malcolm X, Baraka, Morrison, Shange, and Charles Johnson. Only one of the following may be counted: African and African Diaspora Studies 330L, 372E (Topic 5), English 376S. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
