Use an intersectional feminist framework to examine the construction and maintenance of normative categories of race, gender, sex, and sexuality within United States religious discourse. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: African and African Diaspora Studies 352M, American Studies 373I, Religious Studies 361 (Topic: Race, Gender, Sex, Religion), 373I, Women's and Gender Studies 335 (Topic 28). Prerequisite: Upper-division standing.
