Same as Anthropology 324L (Topic 13) and Music 342 (Topic 3). Explore the musical traditions of India, with emphasis on Hindustani and Carnatic musical styles, but including examination of other traditions. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Anthropology 324L (Topic 13), Asian Studies 324C, 361 (Topic 11), Music 342 (Topic 3). Prerequisite: Upper-division standing.
