Historical and cross-cultural overview of the relationship between feminine and religious cultural expressions through comparative examinations and analyses of various goddess figures in world religions. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Anthropology 322J, 324L (Topic: Goddesses in World Religions and Cultures), Asian Studies 340 (Topic 7), 340F, Religious Studies 373 (Topic 3), 373G, Women's and Gender Studies 340 (Topic 30).
