Applies concepts and practices from visual ethnography to the study of memory, place, and everyday life. Subjects include developing counterintuitive and subversive approaches to practices of looking and techniques of representation. Anthropology 325L (Topic: The Photographic Image) and 325J may not both be counted. Two lecture hours and two lab hours a week for one semester.
