Examine the underlying material framework of the built environment through the study of buildings, products, and artworks that span time and place. Emphasis is placed on works of architecture. Architecture 312C and 327R (Topic: Appropriate Materials-WB) may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
