Examine mosque architecture beyond well-known examples from the Middle East, reaching less researched regions where Muslims have built and used mosques, including Africa, South and Southeast Asia, East Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Art History 374 (Topic: Mosques of the Islamic Worlds) and 328C may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
