Explores the structures and functions of proteins and nucleic acids. Emphasis is placed on quantitative methods used to evaluate the roles of structural features in function and in developing new ways of thinking about the dynamics of macromolecules. Biochemistry 394 and Chemistry 394 may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
