Examine critical concepts and strategies in materials development, electronics fabrication and genetic innovations that interface with biological systems. Explore neural interfacing technology, flexible electronics, wearable technology, bio-nanotechnology, and genetic engineering. Focus on the recently developed technology for recording and manipulating neural systems. Biomedical Engineering 363 and 377T (Topic: Bioelectronics/Biointerfaces) may not both be counted.
