Single and multidegree-of-freedom systems; dynamic load factors, response to harmonic excitation; damping; modal analysis; direct integration of equations of motion; analysis in time and frequency domains; application to earthquake, wind, wave, and traffic loadings. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
