Examine the sources of air pollutants and the chemical reactions and physical processes that affect them. Explore tropospheric chemistry and the microphysics, chemistry, and thermodynamics of atmospheric nanoparticles. Discuss aerosol transmission of viruses and mitigation of that transmission, as well as recent advances in understanding air pollution and its health effects.
