Principles and applications of material and energy balances in process analysis. Chemical engineering majors must make a grade of at least C- in this course in order to take upper-division courses in chemical engineering. Three lecture hours and one to two recitation hours a week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: Chemical Engineering 210, Chemistry 302, and Mathematics 408D or 408M with a grade of at least C- in each.
