Explore the works of authors such as Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, Augustine, Machiavelli, Montaigne, Hobbes, Locke, Montesquieu, Rousseau, Gibbon, Hamilton, Madison, Tocqueville, Thoreau, Marx, Mill, Arendt, Berlin, Rawls, and Nozick. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
