Examine major concepts in science fiction, with an emphasis on science fiction film adaptation (from novel to screen). Explore theories of communication implied by science fiction. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Communication Studies 366S and 367 (Topic: Comm & Science Fiction) may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing.
