Focus on experiments in revising dramatic text in order to create a common vocabulary around narrative structure. Revision often includes the creation of multiple new drafts, digging through past drafts for abandoned themes, lost focus, and new inspiration as well as exploring character, narrative, and/or language. Only one of the following may be counted: Creative Writing 355D, Theatre and Dance 355T (Topic: Playwriting III), 355. Three lecture hours a week for one semester, with laboratory hours as required.
