Introduction to fundamental texts and questions that have helped shape the world. Core Texts and Ideas 310 and Western Civilization 303 may not both be counted unless the topics vary. Three lecture hours or two lecture hours and one discussion hour a week for one semester.

Topic 3: Introduction to the Philosophy of Religion. A critical examination of various conceptions of God and of the relationship of the human and the divine.
