A survey of classic Russian authors as well as experimental works from the nineteenth through the twenty-first century. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Comparative Literature 323 (Topic 29), Core Texts and Ideas 345 (Topic 6), 347, English 322 (Topic 37), European Studies 347 (Topic 22), Russian 356 (Topic 1), Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies 325 (Topic 9). Prerequisite: Upper-division standing.
