Investigate the meaning of life, exploring pre-modern perspectives, modern views including those of the nineteenth through twenty-first centuries, and contemporary problems such as whether AI poses new threats to meaning in life. Core Texts and Ideas 339M and Philosophy 365M may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
