Basic concepts of fluid flow, surface and subsurface hydrology, aqueous geochemistry, and fluid-rock interaction. Additional subjects include isotope hydrogeology, evolution of seawater, and mineral-solution equilibrium. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Geological Sciences 416W, 346C. Prerequisite: Chemistry 302 with a grade of at least C- or consent of instructor.
