Physics of ice motion, basal processes, glacial hydrology, and unstable flow. Geological Sciences 350D and 371C (Topic: Glaciology) may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: Upper-division standing; and the following with a grade of at least C-: Chemistry 204, Geological Sciences 401 or 303, and 349C; Mathematics 408D or 408M; and Physics 303L and 103N, or 316 and 116L.
