Systematics, biostratigraphy, paleoecology, and evolution of fossil organisms. Three lecture hours and four laboratory hours a week for one semester, with two additional one-day field trips to be arranged.
Pre/Corequisites: Biology 311D, Geological Sciences 404C or 405, and 416M with a grade of at least C- in each.
Restrictions: Registration priority given to environmental science and geological sciences majors.
