Special research projects, field studies, or geophysical/industrial internship. Assigned reading with written and oral report. May be used instead of Geological Sciences 660 in fulfilling the requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences (Option II: Geophysics). Three lecture hours a week for two semesters.
