Description and interpretation of sedimentary rocks in hand specimen and thin section; characteristics of sedimentary rocks deposited in different environments. Three lecture hours and four laboratory hours a week for one semester, with two additional one-day field trips to be arranged.
Pre/Corequisites: Geological Sciences 401, 303, or 420H with a grade of at least C-.
