Train in and experience hydrology field methods as well as data handling and analysis. Learn methods including drilling and well installation, well logging, hydraulic testing, stream gauging, near-surface geophysics, water sampling and analysis, soil sampling and analysis, hydrologic monitoring and mapping of water tables and flow paths, hydrometeorological measurements, and general mapping and surveying. Train on sampling and safe operation of instrumentation. Nine laboratory or fieldwork hours a week for one semester.
