Same as Asian Studies 355D. Examine the international relations of East and Southeast Asia, with particular attention to postwar economic and security issues, the changing political landscape of the post-Cold War period, and the development and functions of regional institutions. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Only one of the following may be counted: Asian Studies 355D, 361 (Topic 23), Government 365D, 365L (Topic 3). Prerequisite: Upper-division standing and six semester hours of lower-division coursework in government.
