Examines the conceptual and practical aspects of European comprehensive security via the institutions charged with implementing it: the European Union (EU), the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Prerequisite: Six semester hours of lower-division coursework in government.
