Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis, examine different types of real-world problems. Read newspaper and journal articles about real issues or problems and explore how they can be addressed and potentially solved. Focus on specific problems and learn about the GIS tools and techniques that are appropriate for each scenario. Geography 356 (Topic: Spatial Reasoning with GIS) and 370D may not both be counted.
