A developmental approach to the study of emotional and behavioral disorders from infancy through adolescence, including attachment disorders, autism, attention deficit disorder, conduct disorder, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, eating disorders, and schizophrenia. Also includes contrasting theories of psychopathology, epidemiology and outcomes of childhood disorders, therapeutic approaches and their efficacy, and developmental resilience. Human Development and Family Sciences 342 and Psychology 339 may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
