Explore issues such as the justice of war and peace, the relationship between the regime and strategic imperatives, the philosophic arguments for just war, and the ontological nature of conflict. Study sources such as Herodotus, Sun Tzu, Augustine, and Machiavelli. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
