Examine the principles of plant classification, phylogeny, and diversity as exemplified by families and species of flowering plants found seasonally in Texas with an emphasis on the local flora. Biology 463L and Integrative Biology 463L may not both be counted Two lecture hours and three laboratory hours a week for one semester, with additional field trips to be arranged.
Pre/Corequisites: The following with grades of at least C-: Biology 325 or 325H; and Biology 206L, Integrative Biology 208L (or Biology 208L), Molecular Biosciences 226L (or Biology 226L), or Environmental Science 311.
