An investigation of the principles of studio lighting, theory and practice of contemporary color, location lighting, and production of portfolio-quality work, as applicable to advertising, photographic illustration, and photojournalism. Journalism 331J and 371K (Topic 2: Studio Photography) may not both be counted. Three lectures and three laboratory hours a week for one semester.
