An investigation of the basics of computer-assisted reporting. Subjects include finding compelling data sets; cleaning and analyzing the contents; using data visualization and simple statistical models to accurately report based on the data; and presenting results through stories, charts and maps. Journalism 327D and 333F may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
