Instruction in the use of oral history to generate journalistic coverage. Modules include concepts and methods of gathering oral history; illustration of the techniques using the Vietnam War as a topic; and generating oral history-based coverage focusing on the Mexican American experience. Only one of the following may be counted: Journalism 334F, 334K, 334N, 334S. Three lectures hours a week for one semester.
