Restricted to Plan I majors in the College of Liberal Arts. Explore depth and range of various poetic forms of contemporary poetry. Study writing poetry as a way of expressing thought and feeling that is shared with others. Engage in a conversation between voices and texts to produce informed writing. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Liberal Arts Honors 342U and 350 (Topic: Poetics and Performance) may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing and a grade point average of at least 3.50.
