Examine the causes and consequences of gender equality and inequality in the world. Identify where the most and least progress has occurred for gender equality. Analyze the causal links between women's empowerment and development. Liberal Arts Honors 350 (Topic: Gender Equality/World Devel) and 351E may not both be counted. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: Upper-division standing and a grade point average of at least 3.50.
Restrictions: Restricted to Plan I majors in the College of Liberal Arts.
