Topic 2: Global Brazil: Immigration and Diaspora in Brazilian Culture. Examination of twentieth-century literature, films, and other cultural artifacts that capture the multicultural reality of Brazilian society and challenge the image of Brazil as a unified, harmonious, racially-mixed nation.
