Free and forced vibration of single-degree-of-freedom, multiple-degree-of-freedom, and continuous systems. Lagrange's equations and Hamilton's principle; discretization of continuous systems; numerical methods for response and algebraic eigenvalue problems. Three lecture hours a week for one semester.
