Integration of nutrition, genetics, cell biology, and molecular biology. Focuses on the cellular and molecular basis of nutrition-related diseases and nutrient-gene interactions. Three lecture hours and one discussion hour a week for one semester.
Pre/Corequisites: The following coursework with a grade of at least C- in each: Biology 311C and Nutrition 312; and credit or registration for Nutrition 126L and Chemistry 320M.
